steps for use
1)stand near building and connect to hidden SSID "Houghton dead drop" there is no password.
2)in your web browsers address bar enter "ftp://192.168.0.1:21" you will be shown the drop folder. (this is the download only method)
3) for download and upload instead of using your web browser, use a ftp client, if you have windows you have one built in, your file manager can connect to the ftp server by entering "ftp://Dead-drop" in the file explorer address bar.
Notes: the location is right across the the street from the radio station, and just up the hill from sky sushi.
Disclaimer: Put anything you want in the dead drop but please practice your own good sense and safety. remember this is an uncontrolled platform any kind of nasty virus or offensive file has the potential to be on this dead drop, use at your own risk. Also Note that if the police come knocking the dead drop and its data will be turned over without resistance. |
