T.ext is a queer digital library experiment, curated for + by queer people. We use Dead Drops to create open source, pop-up libraries that encourage the intersection of digital and physical queer communities. This is our first drop -- it is pre-uploaded with a collection of texts (essays, images, videos, .gifs, etc) gathered from user submissions on the theme CYBER/SPACE. The texts have to do with cruising, queer body geographies, cyber punk and more! Come check it out! And stay tuned for more!
☆☆☆ The drop is in the South-Eastern part of Prospect park on Well-House Drive near Concert Grove. Look for a cement box next to a water fountain. For some reason the Dead Drop Map places this drop in the Atlantic Ocean... However, if you use the coordinates +40° 39' 35.26", -73° 57' 51.99" in Google Maps you should find it! ☆☆☆
