Installed on a dead tree. To improve access to the USB connector, and its weatherproofing, we've encased it in a chunk of machinable plastic and tethered it with a steel cable. It now hangs upside down so the rain won't have such a negative effect. Also it gives an improved degree of freedom for the user just to pick it up and plug in.
Great location - you can sit on the tree to use it! |
