The Katana is a club for arts & cultural stuff. We call it " Kunst & Kur ". More information at katana18.de but for some reasons only in german language ;-)
We " are " afaik the second deaddrop in Nuremberg. I personally did a deaddrop in Turkey last year when the deaddrop project was really young ... so i have to upload these pics as well! Because of this story ( and the great idea of Aram Bartholl! ), the Members of our Club decided to implant our own Deaddrop in the front wall next to our clubdoor.
We are situated in the so called "Südstadt" of Nuremberg, means next to the Center in the southern part. The Neighbourhood is straight multicultural. We hope the Deaddrop will not be destroyed by Kids or Youngsters ... but c´est la vie ... its really visible, but looks a bit "normal", cause its made of stainless steel and with a cap to screw off and on. That cap is fixed on the wall with a thin steel rope. So we did whats possible to protect the good from the bad...
