The DD is ground-fixed. So its immediate environment is a bit dirty (with rain, dogs and bums passing by). Maybe you outta wear gloves or have an handkerchief in your pocket.
The DD comes with a cap. Please put it back after you're done, to keep it water-resistant. If the cap happens to be lost, and if you are a good samaritan, you can go to the well-known BHV store nearby and buy a new cap, in the basement, section… pipes (available in white or grey. a couple of euros).
