About
tl;dr: I made a new dead drop in the area because the previous one is stolen. I intentionally put this one in an easy-to-access but impossible-to-see location. Be nice and put it back where you found it, né? :)

The flash drive is not fixed into the concrete. I simply squeezed it in between the ceiling of the parking area and the electrical trunking that runs along it. It's actually very easy to get to it, it's just impossible to find if you don't know where it is. Safe from rain and safe from too many eyes (the latter is the reason the previous dead drop in Hatfield got vandalized).

To use: you may take the USB stick out and plug it into your laptop, sit down under that tree (or in your car in the underground parking -- it's free if you don't stay for long), and when you're done then kindly put it back where I placed it in the first place.

As you can see in the pictures, this place is very easy to access if you just walk down the ramp that leads into the underground parking. Fifth tree from the top of the ramp, next to an electrical cable that runs along the wall and onto the ceiling of the lower level.

Story:
I came to look for the Hatfield Square dead drop. It was stolen; could find only the hole left in the pillar. Not surprised. The square is a popular student hangout. It's also an area regularly full of drunk people. And this is NOT a country or province known for its scrupulous citizens.

I decided to fix this. Considered replacing the flash drive in the same spot, but thought it over and quickly decided against it. I know my home country well enough: if the dead drop is highly visible to the public eye, it will NOT survive. Implied with this is, of course, my trust in you people who actually want to use it as a dead drop :)

If someone wants to break it or steal it, they will. So I simply hid the flash drive in a place where it would be fairly safe from rain and uninformed/unscrupulous people. Also, my concrete drill and quick-dry cement were at home when I decided to do this, and using a drill there has a slight chance of getting you arrested for vandalism anyway.

It's only 4GB, but I hope it's still there and serves you well.
